NoMad Caravan. Mobile Housing

In recent years there has been an increased interest in “houses” for those who enjoy leisure time in a nomadic way and where sustainability and motion are key factors of interest. The NoMad Caravan becomes a bridge of the fusion of the traditional ancestral tent and the future nomadic caravan homes. It is a shelter on wheels which uses a contemporary design to cater to the need for technological efficiency with the quality of industrial manufacturing.

The caravan consists of three main elements or spaces. Wet spaces (kitchen and bathroom) are located in the center with every comfort possible in the minimal space. The second space is designed with the living room and a technological closet providing seating areas, storage, secondary table and a folding bed. Opposite to this space is located the third space: a private room with a king-sized bed. The storage spaces are located in different parts of the mobile home to maximize space utility and ensure the autonomy of the home.

This futuristic caravan does not seek to emulate the comforts of home, but reinterprets in the most ingenious way, the needs of a nomadic life and the tension between space, experience, lightness, durability and environment.
